DHARAMSHALA, April 6: The 31st Gyalyum Chenmo Memorial Gold Cup (GCMGC), the premier sporting event of the Tibetan exile community, kicked off on Sunday at the Dhondenling Tibetan settlement in Kollegal, Karnataka, India and will run from April 5 to April 16.
This year’s 12-day tournament brings together 12 teams representing Tibetan settlements across India. Among the contenders are defending champions DYSA Mundgod and last year’s runners-up Tashi Dekyi Lhartso (TDL) Bylakuppe.
