Odisha: On 26 October 2025, Chief Election Commissioner Lobsang Yeshi held a public awareness session on the upcoming 2026 Sikyong and 18th Tibetan Parliamentary elections in Odhisha Phuntsokling Settlement.
The Chief Election Commissioner addressed the gathering at the settlement’s community hall where he raised awareness on the election rules and electoral responsibilities. He emphasised on the importance of active participation in the electoral process and provided clarity by addressing questions from the public.
Later of that afternoon, he held a separate meeting with the members of the Regional Election Commission to discuss and to make required arrangements for the upcoming elections.
