Mainpat, Chhattisgarh: In continuation of the ongoing outreach programmes, Chief Election Commissioner Lobsang Yeshi and Additional Secretary Tenzin Norbu arrived at the Phendeling Tibetan Settlement in Mainpat on 27 October 2025 to a warm welcome from the Tibetan Settlement Officer and the President of the Local Tibetan Assembly, along with representatives of local Tibetan civil societies.
The following day, the Chief Election Commissioner convened a public gathering of Tibetan residents to speak about the 2025–26 Sikyong and 18th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile elections, emphasising the importance of ensuring free, fair, and transparent electoral processes. A Q&A session was held following the public address.
