His Holiness the Dalai Lama has strongly endorsed Pope Leo’s recent Palm Sunday appeal for global peace, calling for an immediate end to ongoing conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine. In a public statement, the Tibetan spiritual leader emphasized that violence directly contradicts the core teachings of all major world religions, which universally promote love, compassion, and tolerance. Warning that violence only breeds further violence, he urged world leaders to abandon weapons in favor of diplomacy. He stressed that lasting resolutions require open dialogue, mutual respect, and a profound recognition of our shared human brotherhood.
