DHARAMSHALA, July 5: Tibetan leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama expressed his aspiration to live beyond 130 years, just a day before his 90th birthday, during an address at the Long Life Prayer (Tenshug) ceremony offered by the Cabinet of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA). The ceremony took place at the Main Tibetan Temple in Dharamshala on Saturday.
Speaking to a gathering that included CTA officials, Tibetan community members, and Indian dignitaries such as Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, and MP Tapir Gao, His Holiness said, “So today here we have gods, representatives of gods, and human beings gathering the auspicious conditions for my long life and offering your prayers sincerely.”
