History and Legacy of Hunsur Rabgyeling Tibetan Settlement in Karnataka Hunsur Rabgyeling Tibetan Settlement, located near Gurupura village in Mysore district, Karnataka, was established in 1971 to accommodate Tibetan refugees following the 1959 uprising.
