DHARAMSHALA, Aug. 11: The International Council of Jurists announced on Friday that the 2025 International Peace Prize will be awarded to Tibetan leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama, alongside other globally revered peace personalities, including Jain Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni, and Malala Yousafzai.
The International Peace Prize honours individuals whose lives and actions embody the spirit of non-violence, justice, and human dignity. In its statement, the ICJ praised the Dalai Lama for his “lifelong commitment to non-violence, global peace, and universal compassion.”
