The six-day, 100-kilometer trek started at Zemithang and ends at Tawang Monastery, symbolizing resilience and Indo-Tibetan ties. With over 300 participants, including monks, locals, and Indian Army personnel, the initiative celebrates Tibetan heritage and promotes spiritual tourism. We spoke with Jamphel Wangdue, chair of Religion and Cultural Affairs for Arunachal Pradesh, about the trail’s objectives.
