According to Phayul, India’s National Centre for Seismology (NCS) has replaced “Xizang” with “Tibet” in its official earthquake reports. The change follows a 7.1 magnitude earthquake in Tibet’s Dingri and came after advocacy efforts by the Voluntary Tibet Advocacy Group (V-TAG) under the Central Tibetan Administration.
