DHARAMSHALA, May 23: Kunchok Migmar has been re-elected as the Tibetan Settlement Officer (TSO) of Dharamshala following a decisive victory in preliminary elections held on May 20, 2025.

The incumbent TSO secured 936 votes in what officials described as the most competitive election in Dharamshala’s settlement history, facing five other candidates in the preliminary round. The field included former TSO Tsering Phuntsok, Tsering Yangzom, Jangchup Rinchen, Tashi Chophel, and Thinley Jampa.
