Lhamo Tashi was born in Tibet and came to India as a refugee at a young age. Initially, she attended primary school at the Tibetan Children's Village in Mussoorie, and later pursued higher education in India, graduating with a master's degree in business administration. She firmly believes that being honest, transparent, and recognizing and addressing the challenges faced by organizations and society, while proposing various solutions, are the essential qualities of a public representative. Currently, she is a candidate for the 18th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile. Over the years, she has provided social leadership services in various non-governmental organizations, including serving as the President of the Amdo Central Council, for over 17 years.
