Tibetans in Dharamshala cast votes in preliminary round of 2026 General Election

Voters in Dharamshala, the seat of the Tibetan government-in-exile, began arriving at polling stations early in the day, overseen by poll officers abiding by the guidelines issued by the Tibetan Election Commission. The preliminary election will determine the shortlisted candidates for the final round of the Tibetan General Elections, scheduled to take place on April 26 this year.
