March '59 - The Beginning of the Tibetan Genocide On the eve of the 63rd anniversary of the Tibetan Uprising Day, Jamyang Norbu gives an in-depth analyses on the concept and meaning of Genocide. Since first coined by the Polish lawyer Raphael Lemkin in the mid 1940s the word 'genocide' has evolved, and brought new meaning to freedom struggles around the world. Jamyang Norbu also lays out the framework to hold the Communist Party of China accountable for its genocidal policies in Tibet, at international courts and judicial institutions.
